My First Robot Drawing in Procreate

Today was my very first time using Procreate. At first, I didn’t know what to draw, but then I thought—why not try making a robot? I found a random reference on Pinterest and gave it a shot.

It felt a bit challenging in the beginning since I was exploring the brushes and tools for the first time, but once I started sketching, it turned into a really fun experience. I liked how easy it was to undo mistakes, try new strokes, and experiment with different brushes.

The robot may not be perfect, but it felt exciting to bring it to life on a digital canvas. This was just the start, and I’m looking forward to practicing more and creating even cooler designs in the future.

On the first layer, I sketched the robot freehand using a light color, just to get the basic shape.

Then on the second layer, I used a dark black marker brush to draw clean outlines over the sketch.

Finally, on a new layer in between the rough free hand sketch and the outlines, I filled in the colors to bring the robot to life.
